1/4 cup makhana (puffed lotus seeds/foxnuts) low-fat milk3-4 dates chopped finely2 tbsp chopped almonds2 tbsp chopped pistachios1 tbsp green cardamom powder1/4 tbsp nutmeg powder

Dry roast 1/4th cup makhana (puffed lotus seeds/foxnuts) in a pan for a few minutes. After that, grind it coursely using a blender.

Heat 1 litre of low-fat milk in a saucepan.

Stir in 3-4 finely chopped dates.

Pour in the coarsely crushed makhana.

Bring the low-fat milk to a boil for 5-7 minutes, stirring regularly.

To the milk, add 2 tbsp chopped almonds, 2 tbsp chopped pistachios, 1 tbsp green cardamom powder, and 1/4th tbsp nutmeg powder and continue to cook for a few minutes, stirring frequently, until creamy and somewhat thick.
